NIKELAB ACG KOMYUTER | Here is the Bolder Version

The ACG.07.KMTR launches May 18 on NikeLab.com and at NikeLab retail locations.

Yesterday when Nike released pictures of its upcoming ACG drop from NikeLab, I noted that the brand had toned down the ACG release by introducing a monochromatic Summer 2017 collection. The black and white (mostly black) lookbook carried the understated look that seems to be the style of choice right now. I explained how I was always interested in how the colors would work on the All Conditions Gear. The outlandish pops of gold or purple or orange always seemed to fit on the darker background of the canvas Nike painted. When I saw the initial pics, I thought Nike had toned down…

Wrong

The Komyuter (Get it Commuter? of course you do) arrives via Nike in a more traditional ACG colorway with a pop of orange sitting atop a bold Navy and khaki gum flavored outsole. The appearance as always is right in your face and undeniably Nike. It’s nice to see Nike sticking to its guns and delivering a product that falls in line with the history of the ACG brand. While the release is a NikeLab drop and will be limited this shoe will probably find its way into retail. Will it sell? I don’t know, but the experimental nature of the shoe matches the way Nike has always pushed forward; with colorful creativity. Use the source link to view more pics.
