I’m kind of hating. I know the Chinese market is extremely important especially right now as Nike is losing ground to adidas in the US, but Li Na gets a true signature line and Serena still doesn’t have a a dedicated signature line that bears her name completely.

I guess it should be clarified that this is a China exclusive. It should also be noted that the traditional Chinese culture severely diminishes the power of women, so this is a very bold move by the brand and will undoubtedly endear Chinese women to Nike at a pivotal time.

This is a marketing statement so I guess I’m okay. Check out more of the pics. The collection is dope and the endorsers are dope.

The Muses for the Li Na Collection are footballer Zhao Lina, tennis player Zhang Shuai, swimmer Stephanie Au and models Bonnie Chen and Liya Wang.
