The word boost can be literally labeled as the most abused word of the year 2016. The Adidas boost technology has revolutionized comfort and cushioning in lifestyle and running shoes. This week alone, the brand has released a total of 8 different colorways of the Ultra Boost 3.0. While the UB and the NMD’s get most of the shine, the Pure boost is right behind them, especially when it pertains to sneaker heads. Most runners will opt for the UB because they are more stable and will keep them injury free. The pure boost is more of a lifestyle/ casual shoe; it really lacks in support and stability, it is just a very comfortable shoe.

The 2017 Adidas pure boost black white might be a game changer; not because of the amazing color only, but the shoes feature a one piece primeknit upper with added TPU pieces on each side of the heel. The primeknit  molds to the foot to enhance natural motion, lightweight and support; the TPU elements are really there to prevent ankle sprains or other foot injuries by promoting stability. The built in eyelets are also connected to the footbed to create even better foot stability.

This is a view of the back of the shoes featuring both TPU pods. I’m not sure what those to small strips on the back are for.

The Adidas signature three stripes blend in well with the Primeknit, but a closer look clearly indicate that they are grey. Another Adidas logo occupies the outside of the tongue. The shoes will obviously sport the boost midsole and its customary Continental outsole. There is no official release date set on the 2017 Adidas Pure Boost Black White, but stay tuned for further updates and enjoy the pictures below.
