These Nike Air Foamposite One Marroon Gum will have redskins fans going nuts; for the first time in years, i am a little bit excited with a foamposite release. There is no backstory about these shoes but they resonate so well with the redskins logo and uniform colors ( they should have been called the Air foamposite one Skins). Dressed in a maroon and burgundy based upper with black accents on the eyestay, tongue and inner liner, the shoe sits on a gum sole. The signature penny logo hits the heel and the outsole along with a small Nike swoosh near the toe box.
When it comes to Foamposites, let me reiterate again, they are built like a German tank and could last a lifetime. The shells on the upper part are intended to mold to the foot, and gives it the protection it needs as well as a stable fit. Cushioning on foams is very interesting ( the foamposite shells are pretty much glued to the outsole , no possible way to insert any air pockets), hence all the cushion one gets is directly from the insoles. These Nike Air Foamposite One Maroon Gum are definitely on my radar since i live in the DMV area; they will be officially released on October the 24th and will retail for $230.
