Ewing Athletics Still Grinding With October Drops

I have a particular attachment to Patrick Ewing. I was a Knicks fan and I wanted to be like Patrick Ewing, but I stopped growing at 6-2. When I realized I wasn’t going to be a 7 foot center, I decided to wear number 33. (I have pictures, but nahhhhh).

When the Knicks decided that the Big Man wasn’t going to recover quickly enough from injury they decided to let him walk. It was the beginning of the end and Pat made two more stops. They were short ones and his NBA career would soon be over. Ewing Athletics realizes that while those stops weren’t as significant as his time in NYC, they shaped his later legacy. The two stops were in Seattle and in Orlando. Patrick went on to be an assistant coach with the Magic. The October drops celebrate both of those journeys and also adds in a breast cancer awareness release. The Orlando version features the classic pinstripes from the jersey and the Seattle which I profiled on the site finally shows up with a great shot of the tongue design representing the Supersonics.
