The AHN has been extremely high on the NB247. With the Tokyo Rat and other drops from New Balance the shoe has rivaled the NMD in comfort and appearance for us and without any contact from the brand we’ve been hyping it as the NMD killer and for good reason. The shoe is on trend and is constantly being recreated. This time NB returns to the initial drops and gives us a premium version featuring nubuck in four new colors. Only three colors are shown here because it’s only right that I give you a click through back to the New Balance site.

The LUXE features

Logo embossing and perforated details make this men’s sneaker a sharp choice with both casual and dressed up looks.
  • Innovative REVlite midsole provides premium responsiveness and durability at a 30% lighter weight than other foams with comparable performance
  • Nubuck leather upper

The addition of nubuck hasn’t pushed the price into “luxe” pricing either. At only 119.99 the shoe remains one of the best models to release at maybe the best price point on the market. The names of the colors are Basin, Light Porcelain Blue, Hemp (pic above the fold) and Rose. The Rose color has an obvious reference to the salmon colorways of particular models in lifestyle running footwear and this shoe may be the standout for many. For me the Basin (Royal Blue Nubuck) with the gum outsole (each pair has a gum outsole) is fresh.

Use the source link to check out more pics and if you’re a diehard eBay buyer here is a link to pick up a pair.

Once again when it comes to the 247 I say Collect This.
